Nagarkot, at an altitude of 2,175 m above the sea level, is the most popular touristic destination out of the kathmandu valley. It is favorite weekend gateway among the seeking mountain view in comfort and quiet. At sunrise, the Himalayan range, stretching from Dhaulagiri in the west all the way past Everest to Kanchanjungha in the east, emerges from the darkness to greet the happy visitors with its awe inspiring majesty and beauty. For those wishing to stretch their legs and enjoy the fresh morning air, there are charming walking trails as well as lookout tower from which the sights can be taken in.
Itinerary
Day 1
You will be warm welcomed at airport by our office representative and then you will transfer to hotel. Our staffs will give brief explanation about the program. Then we will move from Kathmandu to Bhaktapur in purpose of sightseeing. It contains many showpiece are, architecture and historical monuments among them we are going to discover of the prominent sites which are the place of 55 windows. The bhaktapur Durbar square is located in the current town of Bhaktapur, also known as Khwopa, which lies 13 km east of Kathmandu.
Drive to Nagarkot.
Day 2
Rise at dawn to see the sun rise over the Himalayans. From Nagarkot the panorama of the major peaks of eastern and central Nepal can be seen. Overnight a resort in Nagarkot.
Day 3
Nagarkot sunrise views, breakfast in Nagarkot hotel. After catching the beautiful sunrise over the Himalayan peaks. Hike to the tower. Drive one hour Nagarkot to Kathmandu onward your journey.
