Overview

White water rafting in Nepal is an exhilarating experience that attracts adventure enthusiasts from all over the world. The country is blessed with numerous rivers that offer a range of rafting experiences, from easy rapids for beginners to challenging runs for experienced rafters.

One of the most popular rivers for white water rafting in Nepal is the Trishuli River. Located between Kathmandu and Pokhara, the Trishuli is easily accessible and offers a mix of rapids, calm pools, and breathtaking scenery. Rafting on the Trishuli River can be done throughout the year, making it a great option for those who visit Nepal during any season.

Another popular river for white water rafting is the Seti River, which flows through the stunning Pokhara Valley. The Seti River is known for its beautiful green water and stunning scenery, including deep gorges, waterfalls, and lush forests. The rapids on the Seti River are generally less challenging than those on the Trishuli River, making it a great option for beginners.

For those seeking a more challenging rafting experience, the Bhote Koshi River is a must-try. The Bhote Koshi is known for its steep gradient and continuous rapids, which provide an intense and thrilling ride. Rafting on the Bhote Koshi River is recommended for experienced rafters who are comfortable with class IV and V rapids.

No matter which river you choose, white water rafting in Nepal is an unforgettable adventure that will take you through some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. Rafting trips can range from a few hours to several days, and experienced guides are available to ensure your safety and enjoyment throughout your journey.
